The European Alumnae Council can offer some financial assistance for a limited number of alums who may not be able to attend otherwise due to financial restraints. Financial assistance covers the registration fee and an allowance of a maximum of 50 euros for travel, if needed. Please note that assistance towards travel costs will be given in person at the Symposium as reimbursement.

Requests for a financial assistance application form should be made to the Chair of the European Alumnae Council at smaulini@alumnae.mtholyoke.edu prior to registration. Please mark email requests: “Munich Financial Assistance.”

Subject to funds being available, applications are accepted up to August 15, 2024.  You are encouraged to apply before this date.  Completed forms will be treated in strict confidence.

Please note: Recent alums should take into consideration that they are already being awarded a discount of 110 EUR on the registration fee (160 EUR instead of the standard 270 EUR fee). Financial assistance is for extraordinary circumstances only.
