Why is this recipe great? What’s its backstory? 

It is super simple, super delicious, and super customisable. This dish was one of a series of many egg dishes I grew up eating when it was a lazy Saturday or Sunday with my family. It reminds me of home and if I have the chance, I make it for anyone staying with me or visiting me. Double and triple the portion for more guests. 🙂

Masala Chicken Bread

Why is this recipe great? What’s its backstory? 

I really like bread and testing different bread roll recipes. I have come to really enjoy the versatility of the Turkish Pogaca dough. The yogurt in this dough makes the bread nice and soft. Here I have taken a slightly spicy chicken mixture as a filling in making a stuffed bread. This recipe will make 2 large or 3 medium sized breads. This can be enjoyed with tea or eaten as a meal with a nice salad on the side!

One-pot spiced rice dishes can be found everywhere, from Indian pulau to Turkish pilav to Spanish paella and countless others. But many people don’t know that the south-eastern United States has its own traditional spiced rice dish, often spelled pilau but pronounced “purlow” or “purloo”.
