Get ready for our 10 year MHC Reunions!
We are so excited to celebrate our Tenth Mount Holyoke College reunion the weekend of May 16-18, 2014! We can’t wait to reconnect with everyone, celebrate our amazing time at Mount Holyoke, and most importantly, have fun!
In honor of our tenth reunion, we’re moving ahead with a “Hang Ten” theme! Our reunion committee and amazing volunteers (thank you, guys!) have been hard at work, committed to bringing you a weekend that is fun and affordable. That said, we’re still in the preliminary planning stages, and we would love to get your input and ideas on weekend activities. Some alums have already emailed us with some fab ideas, including hosting a networking event (bring your business cards!) and even a volunteer activity.

Speaking of the weekend, let’s talk logistics and details.
First, we have estimated the cost of attending reunion to be $315 per alum. Here’s the breakdown:
Alum association fee: $125
Housing Friday night: $40
Housing Saturday night: $40
Class fees: $60
Saturday Mount Holyoke lunch: $15
Saturday class dinner: $35
We are very conscious of budget crunches and want to make attendance possible for all. If this cost is prohibitive to you, please email Jen. Our class has some scholarships (confidential, of course!) for those who need them. We’re also trying to negotiate group airline discounts for those who need to fly in. Details to come!
Second, we don’t want you guys to miss any info or emails regarding reunion. In order to avoid delays when reunion registration opens in March, update your email with the Alumnae Association’s email address (ais@mtholyoke.edu). And definitely make sure you like our class Facebook page for the most up-to-date class reunion info.
Finally, we need your help making signs! Fill out our super fun sign questionnaire here. Your responses will be compiled to make some of the signs we’ll display during Saturday’s laurel parade.
In closing, Anna and Sophia, your head class agents, want to thank you all for your generous giving these past nine years. As we approach our tenth reunion, they hope you’ll join us all in giving a gift to the Mount Holyoke Fund in celebration and gratitude of our years at MHC. Recognizing there are many expenses associated with attending Reunion, gifts at any amount are encouraged and welcomed. Really, the only gift too small is no gift at all. Thank you kindly for joining us in the Mount Holyoke tradition of stewardship.
We are so privileged to have had the benefits of our Mount Holyoke experience! We hope to see you at Reunion this May 16-18. Let’s make this year’s reunion the best yet!
