On May 23, 2004, the class of 2004 finished being students at Mount Holyoke and became alumna. Labeled as “One Strong Group” coming into the college, our class is filled with women who are taking the challenge set forth by Mary Lyon to “Go forward, attempt great things, accomplish great things.” The accomplishments of our class are too numerous to list here, but congratulations to every single person on all of the amazing things that you have done, are attempting to do, and will do in the future.
Mary Lyon urged early graduates to “Go where no one else will go. Do what no one else will do.” More than 170 years later, graduates are still doing this. I am proud to be included in this group of Mount Holyoke women… and you should be too!
