The Mount Holyoke Alum Group of Britain is currently hard at work organizing our next symposium, which will be hosted in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland in Fall 2026. Watch this space for updates!

Our Most Recent Symposium: 2024: Munich

Held November 1-3, 2024 in Munich, Germany

Alums in Germany, led by Catherine Jourdan ’95, did an incredible job welcoming all participants to this amazing event!

The symposium brought together 170 alums, current students, and guests, who participated in discussions around the theme “The arts and socio-political change: A powerful interplay at the heart of democracy”.

The symposium featured multiple keynotes, a presentation by Mount Holyoke President Danielle R. Holley on the state of the college, an interactive BarCamp session, and panel discussions, hosted at the Katholische Akademie Bayern, as well as a jazz evening, a night at the opera, and Milk and Cookies! A fun and intellectually stimulating time was had by all.

2024 Symposium highlights:
