Our second class event for 2023 will be a Class Mini Reunion in Florida on Thursday, Feb.16 at noon, at the home of our Reunion Co-Chair Judy Karlen Stein.  Whether you are a permanent Florida resident or a visiting snowbird, this gathering promises to be fun, a perfect way to make new friends and keep the old!   Judy’s address is 3700 S. Ocean Blvd., Highland Beach, Florida (45 mi. north of Miami Beach and 130 mi. northeast of Naples).  Please RSVP directly to Judy at judystein13@gmail.com

Lastly, a reminder that Mary Lyon’s birthday is February 28.  If you live in an area with a local Mount Holyoke alumnae club, your club may be celebrating locally.  You may remember that a gingerbread-like dessert called Deacon Porter’s Hat is traditionally served at Mount Holyoke on Mary Lyon’s birthday.  If you are inspired to bake for this occasion, please email me and I will send you the Deacon Porter’s Hat recipe.
