MARCH4MHC is turning 5!

Help us celebrate this fifth anniversary milestone. 

On March 7–8, join us in supporting the place that has emboldened and empowered so many to press forward for change. Make a gift of any size to The Mount Holyoke Fund as part of the March4MHC Challenge and invest in the future of MHC. 

The goal is at least 5,000 donors.

The power of participation: 

A group of anonymous donors will champion our efforts by giving $50,000 to The Mount Holyoke Fund for every 500 donors who make a gift during the challenge days, up to $500,000!

Mount Holyoke students are passionate, resilient and dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. Your challenge gift to The Mount Holyoke Fund will both empower our students in their individual journeys and uphold the legacy of academic excellence and distinction that defines Mount Holyoke.

Your gift matters. Every gift matters. We’re always so much stronger together. 

Who can participate? (Hint… it’s everyone!) 

This is a real community challenge, meaning any alum, family member, student, faculty, staff or friend of the College is welcome to participate! With that said, each donor will be counted only once, so encourage all of your classmates, friends and family to join the fun so we can earn the full $500,000 in challenge funds.

How can I give? 

On March 7–8, make your gift:

• Directly on this GiveCampus page. (Gifts can be made via PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay directly through GiveCampus.)
• On the MHC website.
• Venmo | @mountholyokefund1837 (be sure to include your name, class year and email address)
• PayPal
• By phone at 800-642-4483 (800-MHC-GIVE) between 8:30 am and 5 pm ET.

March Madness is almost upon us.

For our beloved alma mater, that means March4MHC instead of a flurry of college basketball games.

March 9 and 10 are the big days, but early birds can make their donations now:

We’re hoping that at least 100 classmates will participate this year and that a few more might consider becoming monthly or sustaining donors to Mount Holyoke. There are prizes! An anonymous classmate has pledged a gift of $1,000 if we reach that mark and other alums will give our class an additional $500 for every 20 donors. Every dollar will also count toward our 50^th reunion goal.

So please consider making your annual donation during March4MHC or making a token contribution ($25 or more) if you have already given. As a reminder, the annual fund supports more than 10 percent of the college’s annual budget and makes a real difference for students, faculty, and staff. If you have a particular interest, you can also identify a “destination’ for your gift.

The good news? Members of our class have already given or pledged more than $144,000 to the Mount Holyoke annual fund this year. That puts us more than halfway to our dollar goal of $250,000. But what’s our biggest goal: increasing the number of our classmates who support the college – at whatever level makes sense for them.

Our team of class agents will be reaching out to members of our class, but please feel free to share with your circle of friends. They will try to share progress on our Facebook page during the challenge.

On March 9–10, the Mount Holyoke community is coming together once again for the fourth annual March4MHC Challenge.

The goal is bold: to have at least 4,500 community members rise to the challenge. To inspire our success, a group of anonymous donors will give $50,000 to The Mount Holyoke Fund for every 500 donors who make a gift during the challenge, up to $450,000.
