Longing to express yourself and feel more inspired by life? Kick off Spring with an exploration of your creativity! Magic happens when we write, share, or doodle together. Margaret Wagner ’81 will offer ways to clear our creative pathways with music or poems. Then, we’ll see what words or visual art flows from there. There are no prerequisites–just bring a desire to express yourself and be touched by our unpolished, authentic, in-the-moment sharing. 

Please bring a writing instrument and paper, plus some colored pens if you wish to draw. Wear clothes you can easily move in and have water available.

Margaret is a writer, dancer, and artist who has won three Travelers’ Tales Solas Awards for Best Travel Writing. She has studied with poets Ellen Bass, Marie Howe, Jericho Brown, and writer Julia Cameron, in addition to conscious dance pioneers Gabrielle Roth and Anna Halprin. Margaret founded WRITE IN THE BEAT workshops to combine her passion for dance, words, art and inspiring others to claim their creativity. She is a certified Open Floor and 5Rhythms® dance teacher.
