For over ten years, Attorney Barbara B. Creed has presented her popular interactive discussion programs of important cases pending before the Supreme Court. She helps participants gain an understanding of how the Court does its work and gives an appreciation for the complexities of the cases the Court handles.  

For this special webinar, Barbara will present a brief description of several important cases to be addressed by the United States Supreme Court during this 2020-2021 Court Term. Barbara has already selected the cases she’ll be discussing so attendees can familiarize themselves with the issues in advance. The reading links are available on her website. Following Barbara’s presentation on each issue, the group will discuss the issue, possible outcomes, and potential effects of the Court’s opinion.

Speaker bio: Barbara B. Creed has practiced law in San Francisco for over 40 years, specializing in employee benefits. She recently retired as chair of the board of trustees of the Church Pension Fund, a $12B diversified financial services organization providing pensions, health coverage, and other benefits to clergy and lay employees of the Episcopal Church in the United States, certain countries in Central and South America, the Caribbean and Liberia. She is a founding member and past president of the International Women’s Forum of Northern California. Barbara has given programs on the Supreme Court for over 10 years.
