This year the College has chosen There, There by Tommy Orange (a writer born and raised in Oakland, CA) as theCommon Read. We encourage you to read the book and join us for a conversation with Tommy Orange at the SF Main Library in conversation with San Francisco Poet Laureate Kim Shuck.
We’ll meet at San Francisco’s Main Library (adjacent to Civic Center BART Station) to attend a conversation with the author and then get together for dinner/drinks and continued discussion afterward. (Location TBD.) Stephanie Corrales will arrive early to save a few seats as the event is expected to fill up.
