On the day after the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the tragic Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire in New York City, I spoke with Barbara Burt, the executive director of the Frances Perkins Center in Maine. Burt had been at the memorial and was kind enough to speak with me from her hotel room.
