A First Blog — Staying in Touch

Staying in touch with one another after the upsurge of activity, occasioned by our fabulous 50th reunion has just been made easier, thanks to Joyce Diwan’s wonderful work taking us forward to this handsome new Class of 62 site. It complements your posts on our Facebook page named Mt. Holyoke Class of 62 and our Quarterly column where, as you’ll have seen, Scribe Carol Kent included news of no less than fifteen of us in the fall issue. Please do your bit to stay in touch; think of those conversations you had with someone you connected with after decades, perhaps while adjusting your sassy red hat before the alumnae parade, over quinoa salad at Saturday lunch in Abbey-Buckland, or while washing your face in one of the “johns.” Let’s keep the momentum going. Comment, post, write and email, and think about what you would like for a next class gathering – a mini perhaps somewhere near you, or further afield.

Happy Holidays to us all.

Bea Beach Szekely, your ’62 class president
