February 2016 (February 2016)

In case you missed the updates on Facebook (where we are posting frequently — click here for the link), we  had 59 gifts count in the FebruMary Challenge (as well as a few after the deadline), so we finished in a tie for second with the Class of 1974. Well done, Team 1978!

Thanks to all our classmates who participated in this challenge.

Februmary Is Coming (Jan 2016)

Here’s a chance to give back to MHC and have some fun as well.

Do you know about FebruMary?  It’s Mount Holyoke’s way to celebrate Mary Lyon’s birthday and to do some FUNdraising for the Mount Holyoke Fund at the same time.

MaryLyonDuring February, classes from 1970 to 2015 will join in a special FUNdraising challenge campaign where they will have a specific 24-hour period in which to raise as many new gifts from classmates as possible. The class with the most new donors in its decade will get $1837 to add to its class fundraising total at the end of the year – plus bragging rights as the most loyal of FebruMary supporters.

Sunday, February 8 (we’re the Class of 1978) is our day to raise new gifts from as many donors as we possibly can.  Show some Pegasus spirit!  Support Mount Holyoke by making a Mount Holyoke Fund gift on February 8 and help 1978 win the 2015 FebruMary challenge!

Like all good challenges, this one has rules:

1.  In order to count toward our challenge total, your FebruMary gift must be made on February 8 – not before and not after.

2Only on-line gifts made on February 8 and gifts received via the student phonathon held from 6-9pm on February 8 will count toward the challenge.  Pledges DO NOT count.  Pledge payments DO NOT count.

3.  Any NEW GIFT made during our 24-hour period will count, so if you have already given, you can make a second (or third or fourth, you get the picture) gift to help our class challenge effort.

4.  Remember, this is a PARTICIPATION challenge, so every gift is equally important!
