Active Members List

The Peninsula area has over 400 alumnae – people who spent at least one year as a student at Mount Holyoke College. Our club Bylaws define “active members” as those who pay dues.

The club’s fiscal year begins on July 1, we ask that all alumnae become active members of our local club by submitting annual dues. Annual dues are $20. The Club’s bylaws describe the dues structure as:

Section 4. Annual Dues Structure

  1. An alumna who graduated at least 10 years, but no more than 50 years from the current year, shall pay the full amount of the stipulated annual dues.
  2. An alumna who graduated less than 10 years before the current year shall pay 50 percent of the stipulated annual dues.
  3. An alumna who graduated more than 50 years from the current year need not pay her annual dues. Should she pay, the annual dues collected shall be placed in the club’s general fund, as shall “a” and “b” as outlined above.

The Mount Holyoke Club of the Peninsula is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. In addition to social and educational programming for alumnae, our club contributes to the College’s admissions work. The club holds a fall social for prospective MHC students, delivers roses to admitted high school seniors, and hosts receptions for admitted and incoming students. Dues and additional donations help to cover most club expenses.
