October ’22 Newsletter

Dear fellow alums,

It officially feels like fall in the Bay Area now that the foliage is changing from green to gold.

We’ve had a great lineup of events this September, beginning with another studio tour hosted by Shan Shan Sheng (MHCG ’83), followed by our monthly book club meeting, and Mountain Day ice cream socials across the Bay. Thank you to our Mountain Day hosts, Eleanor Chang ’78 and Pauline Au ’87, Hannah Groce ’08, and Rebekah Rabiroff ’03 for bringing us all together for a cherished Mount Holyoke tradition.

If you missed any of these chances to be in community with other local alums, don’t worry – October and November bring more opportunities to meet up both online and in person! Check out our slate of upcoming events below.

Pay Your Dues

Many thanks to those of you who have already paid your dues and/or become Lifetime Members! If you want to pay membership dues for fiscal year 2022-2023 or become a Lifetime Member, please do so here. All payments and donations are tax-deductible and help keep our volunteer-run Club afloat. As we gradually return to in-person events, your donations will become more critical than ever as they help us plan and subsidize events, reach a greater number of alums, and build our community.

Let’s Connect

As we continue planning for 2022, please share with us what types of events, programs, and resources may best support you at this time or any you may wish to offer. Email us or fill out this form to get started. And finally, for those who have hosted and or plan to host an event in the near future, please be sure to complete our 2021-2023 Events Tally Record form. It helps us understand the types of programming that our membership enjoys.

Until next month,

The Board
