Nancy Bradford Whiting, FP84

Nancy Bradford Whiting died at her home in Montpelier, Vt., of a heart attack on Feb. 3. She was 61.

Nancy was the daughter of Eileen Whiting and the late Raymond Whiting of Tisbury. Eileen worked many years here for Tisbury Town Hall and is retired in Hudson, Fla.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Eileen, her sister, Maureen of Hudson, Fla., and many friends and family members, especially on the Cape, Martha’s Vineyard, elsewhere in Massachusetts and Vermont.

Nancy was born in Brockton on May 1, 1950. She was known for her gentle and compassionate nature. She graduated from Mt. Holyoke College and was a retired teacher. Nancy loved painting and writing. She had many small dogs over the years and loved these dogs as if they were her children. Nancy could bring joy to anyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is interred at the Holmes Hole West Chop cemetery. There will be a service this summer, the time and date will be announced. Any correspondence will be gratefully received by Eileen and Maureen Whiting, 11907 Aranda Ct., Hudson, FL 34667.
