Ruth Rotundo Whitney and Norma Davenport held two micro-reunions in London, one with Susan Ganis Auty and the other with Virginia Ross.

Ruth, Susan and Norma met for tea and were so busy talking that they stayed on for supper before Susan and Norma went to the National Theatre to see Caryl Churchill’s Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, which played to mixed reviews.

Virginia Ross joined Ruth and Norma for tea at the V&A Museum before attending a Reception and Lecture by MHC Professor Christopher Benfey hosted at a club on Berkeley Square by Carol Hoffman Collins, ’63.  Meeting alumnae from the MHC Britain Club was very exciting and the lecture titled Ruddy Beavers and Teddy Bears: Kipling, Roosevelt and American Foreign Policy circa 1900 and the discussion following were entertaining and informative.
