It’s hard to believe but it seems as if 2013 may surpass the wonderful turnout for mini reunions around the country which led the field last year. There were gatherings held this year in Santa Cruz & Carlsbad,California, Illinois(9/18 in Chicago), Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas(10/12 in San Antonio) and the state of Washington. Photos of minis can be found for many of the events with our Class members proudly pictured in their Fabulous 50th! red baseball caps. So remember – we hope that you will be generous with your time and when there is a mini in your area take the opportunity to connect – and re-connect – with the Class.

The lunch last Saturday, Oct. 12 was hosted by Jane Toomey Welch, who is holding the hat of Joanne Lupton, who couldn’t make it. As usual, there was lots of discussion along with eating and drinking.
Alumnae from Classes ranging from 1950 to 2001 attended the luncheon with great fun had by all.

got together for lunch at Sara’s Place in Gates Mills, a Cleveland suburb, whose environs remind us all of the hills and streams of South Hadley. On an unusually beautiful spring day the sun was shining and we had a great time catching up. Marilyn Wilker, who now divides her time between Chicago and Cleveland, got the prize for traveling the furthest.
Knoxville, TN Micro-Mini 0120:
Nancy Lewis Pierce, Judy Lane Wiggin, Hilda Driscoll Walter and Marcia Hoffmann Frederick got together from Jan. 18-20 near Knoxville and had a great time catching up after so many years.
Santa Fe, NM Micro-Mini 0721:
Sally Bysshe Cooper and Flora Franconi enjoyed a mini-reunion at Karen Waltz Browne’s lovely home in Santa Fe, NM. They spent time cooking, dining, visiting museums, seeing opera outdoors and hiking at Bandelier National Monument. It was great fun.
