Common Read Discussion on July 16

downloadThe Club invites all area alumnae and current students to a discussion of the 2015 Common Read, Americanah, by prize-winning Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The discussion will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Solstice Strategy Partners (http://www.solsticestrategypartners.com), 129 Tolland Stage Road in Tolland (see Map Quest for directions). Many thanks to Rita MacRae ’00 for generously offering to host our meeting.

Mary Lyon Dinner Coming Up!

The dinner this year will take place on Wednesday, May 27 at 5:30 pm at the Town and County Club in Hartford! Join us for food, conversation, and a talk by MHC assistant professor of environmental studies Kate Ballentine!

Interested? RSVP by Monday, May 18, by sending a check made out to Mount Holyoke Alumnae Club of Hartford to Natasha Domina, 237 Main Street, Rockfall CT 06481, and indicate your meal choice.

Entrée choices are broiled salmon, chicken chardonnay, or mushroom ravioli. The cost of the dinner is $30 for young alumnae (Classes of 2011–15) and $35 for all other alumnae and guests.
