What\u2019s its backstory?&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<p>This is a very common recipe in Greece. We eat this salad every day during summertime at my house and the vinegar is my dad\u2019s addition to make the salad have a twist &amp; taste even better. Please note that the end taste is affected by the quality of the fresh vegetables.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>Greek Salad<\/h5>\n<p><em>Serves 1-2 people . Takes approx. 5 minutes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Ingredients:<\/span><br \/>\n2 tomatoes<br \/>\n1 medium cucumber<br \/>\n1 half Green pepper<br \/>\n1 half red onion<br \/>\n2-3 tbs of Olive Oil<br \/>\na bit of salt &amp; oregano<br \/>\n1-2 tbs of Vinegar<br \/>\nFeta Cheese (optional)<br \/>\nBread (optional)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Instructions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wash tomatoes &amp; pepper, then cut them into medium sized cubes.<br \/>\nPeel cucumber &amp; slice them into pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Cut red onion into small pieces &amp; then mix all vegetables in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the olive oil &amp; vinegar in the bowl with vegetables &amp; then mix with salt &amp; oregano.<\/li>\n<li>If you like feta, cut a small piece (quantity depends on personal preference), crumble it and then throw it in the salad bowl with the rest of the ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Once you are done with your salad throw pieces of bread on the bottom of the salad bowl to soak in some oil &amp; vinegar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Source:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Family recipe.
