Hello everyone, just a reminder that our first MHC Class of 1977 Book Club meeting is Thursday, March 30th, 8 pm EST, and we will be discussing Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.
More than 20 of you have already responded that you will be joining Susan Granahan Colgan and me for the discussion, and we can’t wait to see everyone. For some others, if you are just finishing, or even if you start to read the book now, it’s a pretty quick read and you probably can finish (or almost finish) by March 30th. So if you would like to join us, please let me know (lizgershon@att.net ) so we have an idea of how many classmates are coming. And come with thoughts about the book, or specific ideas you found intriguing, or events that you could relate to… or just come to talk with friends. And also come with thoughts of other books we can read together, and also if you would be willing to help moderate future meetings.

And I just found out that Apple TV+ is going to do a series based on the book, so that will be interesting too!
As I’ve said many times, my goal is to foster Connection, Communication, and Connectivity, and I think a MHC Class of 1977 Book Club will do just that.
