1) Did you hear that the post office is thinking about charging 7 cents to mail a letter?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

3)<\/strong>  When I first started driving, who  would have thought<\/strong> gas would someday cost 25 cents a gallon?    <\/strong>
\nGuess we’d be better off leaving  the car in the garage.<\/strong>  <\/h4>\n

4)  Did you see where some baseball player just signed a contract for  $50,000 a year just to play ball?   It wouldn’t surprise me if someday they’ll be making more than the President. <\/strong>

\"\"5)  I never thought I’d see
\nthe day<\/b> all our kitchen appliances would be electric
\n<\/b>. They’re even making electric typewriters now.<\/b>  <\/h4>\n

\"\"6) <\/strong>It’s too bad things are so tough<\/b> nowadays. I see where a few<\/b>  married women are having to<\/b> work to make ends meet.<\/b>  <\/h4>\n

7)<\/strong>  It won’t be long before young<\/b>  couples are going<\/b>
\nto have to hire<\/b>  someone to watch their kids so<\/strong> they can both work.<\/strong> <\/h4>\n

8) I’m afraid the Volkswagen car  is going to open the door to a whole lot of foreign business. <\/strong> <\/h4>\n

9 Thank goodness I won’t live to see the day when the<\/b> Government<\/b>  takes half our income in taxes. I<\/strong> sometimes wonder if we are<\/strong>  electing the best people to<\/b>  government.<\/strong>   <\/h4>\n

10) T<\/strong>he fast food r<\/b>estaurant is<\/b>  convenient for a quick meal,<\/b>   but I seriously doubt they<\/b> will ever catch on.<\/b>

11) <\/strong>There is no<\/b> sense<\/strong> going on short trips any more <\/b>for a weekend. It<\/b> costs nearly $2.00 a night to stay<\/b> in a hotel.<\/b> <\/h4>\n

12) <\/strong>No one can afford to be sick anymore.<\/b>
\nAt $15.00 a day in<\/b> the hospital, it’s too rich for<\/b>  my blood.<\/b><\/h4>\n
