The culture shock, her conflict with her home community and her family who have no idea why she wanted to go to college, let alone to the north, really interest me. We\u2019ve had so many of our A Better Chance scholars face this dichotomy between home and school over the years. It was compelling for me to try to get in the inside of one of these young women\u2019s head. It might not be for everyone, but I liked it a lot &#8211; especially the first 1\/2 or so.<br \/>\nWe heard an interview with Crucet on NPR.
