Kay Althoff and the FP Program

Our inaugural profile features Kay Althoff, FP84. As director of the Frances Perkins Program — and now as the associate director — Kay has represented FPs on campus and beyond with grace and skill. Her calm and steady approach has been invaluable for prospective FPs and current students. In this video, Kay talks about her time as an FP and reflects on the value of the program.

  1. Today I came across this section of the MHC website almost mistakenly — but then saw Kay Altoff’s Perkins Profile interview. Our own champion. Good work through and through. I’ll never forget my entry interview – how I had my application in hand, but forgot the check, and Kay, affable as ever, smiled, waved it off and said, “Never mind that.” A keen sense for the particulars, but only the important ones… thank you Kay for your hard work throughout the years preserving this incredibly important program. Keep it up!
