Speaker:, Dr. Ken Colodner, Mount Holyoke Assistant Professor

Topic: Tau Proteins and Brain Disease

Description:

Could fruit flies be the key to unlocking how brain cells communicate when they’re compromised by Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases?

Dr. Colodner’s neuroscience research into tau protein toxicity might help develop new treatments for these devastating disorders.

Alumnae and their guests are invited to the lunch at 12:30 pm with RSVP ahead of time – Details are sent via email to club members. Alumnae and the public can come to the lecture at 2 pm CT.
