Hello Fellow Griffins,
I am so happy to see that you have sought out the class. We are in the process of updating the website. Sarah Chasse, our Class Secretary, is spearheading the effort. Feel free to send her ideas, content or pictures. In the meantime, please don’t stop here. Connect with classmates on Facebook and LinkedIn. You will see that there are posts periodically. Plus as the class board becomes more active, we will be sharing so many exciting things.

Since you are here, I thought I would take a moment to update you on what the class board has been doing. First, you may recall we were elected at our 15th Reunion last May.  Second, a few of us attending training on campus last September (oh the leaves!). Third, we drafted a board vision. And fourth,  we are currently in the planning stages. You are probably wondering why the board needs a vision and what besides Reunion does the board plan.

Reunion is a great event and we have fabulous reunion chairs. However, not everyone is able to attend or others do not want to attend, quite frankly. We want to change the latter. Our vision is to reach out, reconnect and elevate. We are still refining the language. Though please let me elaborate on what we mean. We want to develop a program where we reach out to classmates and share with them how to reconnect (e.g. Liking Facebook or attending a webinar). We also want to give classmates different opportunities to connect whether it be online networking events or discussion forums. And lastly, we would like to highlight classmates for publishing a paper, book or blog; running a 5k or marathon; running a business, making tenure, changing jobs or running a household; volunteering in their community, etc. With technology and ideas, the opportunities are endless. That is why we have a vision and are planning. We hope you keep an eye on us the next few months as we share ideas and plans, and give us your feedback. We look forward to reconnecting with you and creating ways to elevate each of our classmates.
