A note to Young Alumni from the Office of Advancement:

Now more than ever, the Mount Holyoke Fund needs your support and participation.  Gifts to the Mount Holyoke Fund provide critical and immediate funding for student financial aid and faculty support each year.

Remember, participation of any kind is welcome and highly encouraged. Even a $1 gift makes a difference! Alumni giving is a widely accepted metric in determining alumni satisfaction. It impacts our rankings and therefore the way that prospective students view the college.

Mount Holyoke’s young alumnae can help make an enormous difference to our current students. If you have not already, please make your own gift now. Or, sign up for the Direct Debit Program and spread your gift out over the year with monthly debits from your checking or credit card account. You can set it up with as little as $5/month.

If you have any questions, please be in touch with Mount Holyoke Funds and Special Gifts Officer, Allison Butler at 413-538-2247.

Cornerstone Program for Young Alumnae

The Cornerstone Program recognizes young alumnae who make leadership gifts to the Mount Holyoke College Mount Holyoke Fund. For alumnae 5 years from graduation, a donation is considered a leadership gift if it totals at least $500.

Mount Holyoke counts on gifts to the Mount Holyoke Fund to cover approximately 10 percent of the College’s annual operating budget, a standard percentage among our peers. Gifts provide critical funds for student financial aid, as well as support for faculty salaries, teaching and tech tools, and campus upkeep. If you will be a Cornerstone donor for the first time, please know how important your support is to the College. Historically, leadership donors account for 15 percent of all donors, contributing 75 percent of Mount Holyoke Fund total, overall. Learn More!
