Catherine McArdle Kelleher was awarded the Therese Delpech Memorial Award at the 2017 Carnegie Nonproliferation Conference, in Washington D.C. on March 21, 2017. This award is presented every other year by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Nuclear Policy Program, to “an individual who has rendered exceptional service to the nongovernmental nuclear policy community.” Read more about it HERE. Her work as a founder of The International and Security Studies at Maryland (ISSM), in the School for Public Policy, and also as a founder of Women in International Security (WIIS) has brought well-deserved recognition.
